These factors were weighed equally alongside data from other publicly available sources, including U.S. News & World Report, the National Center for Education Statistics, and  PayScale.com .

The University of Pennsylvania is a private, Ivy League institution that caters to the ambitious working professional. This school confers the Master of Business Administration to a select group of candidates. The Wharton MBA program, so named after the Wharton School of Business, is one of the most selective and competitive programs in the country. Less than 10 percent of students accepted into the University of Pennsylvania get accepted into the MBA program.
